Book a Tour

If you would like to book a tour or have a question, simply email us:

Bookings - bookings@dprktours.com

We will then send you a list of different tour options, prices, itineraries, and an application form.

Booking Information

A deposit of 10% is required on booking with the remainder due 4 weeks before your departure date. Payment can be made by direct deposit into Chinese, or UK bank accounts. PayPal and credit card payments will also be possible in the near future, but will attract a slightly higher cost due to fee's.

Please allow around 4 weeks to arrange your tour. The sooner you can make the booking the better it will be for you, as it does take some time to apply for the visas.

What we are going to need from you: A copy of your passport - a good color scan/picture of the photo page should suffice. We do need your actual passport. We will also need a scan or digital file of a recent passport picture. These are both required for you visa application. It is possible to arrange the visa yourself if you have a DPRK embassy in your country, but we think you'll find it a lot easier to arrange through us.

Please note that American citizens can NOT visit the DPRK outside of the Mass Games periods of around late June to mid October, sorry :(

Visa and Ticket Collection

All of our tours include a DPRK visa, and the cost is INCLUDED in the cost of the tour. As mentioned above, we will require some information from you and arrange the visa on your behalf and it will be supplied to you in China.

All of our tours leave from China, therefore you need a double entry Chinese visa.  For the latest information, please look at the Chinese embassy website for your country. Don't worry, a Chinese visa is very easy to obtain for most people. If you are in Australia and would like us to arrange your Chinese visa we can do this for a small fee.

When you book with us we will arrange for a staff member from our sister company in China to meet you in Beijing, or Dandong, depending on your departure city, and they will give you your visas and your train tickers or flight tickets, as well as some last minute departure info to make sure everything is in place for your exciting trip. You will have a chance to ask them any final questions, and if you are leaving from Dandong, our guy will even take you to the train station and make sure you get away OK.

We can also help people from anywhere in the world arrange very cheap flights to Beijing, as well as discount internal flights and accommodation in China. Make sure you ask us for a price first, as we are generally cheaper than anyone else!
